However, to most people, it is a shock to learn that they have the attention deficit within their adult years. Most of the time, they come to realize that when they take their attention deficit child to a specialist in order to receive treatment. During the time that they are attempting to understand all of the symptoms their child is experiencing, that they realize that they are experiencing the exact same symptoms.

Before this point and time, they didn't even realize that they were even suffering from the attention deficit disorder because within their early years within society, there was much awareness of this syndrome. It was only here recently that all of the people began taking a lot more interest in the attention deficit disorder within their children, and they have tried to get them cured from it.

The adults that have attention deficit disorder over the years have developed several different behaviors for coping in order to deal with the main problem. There is a wide variety of symptoms and signs through which the attention deficit disorder can be given as the diagnosis.

6. Seek Stimulation- most of the people that suffer from this condition are normally on the lookout for activities that offer a high stimulus such as gambling, risky projects at work, or paragliding.

However, to put everything into a brighter prospective, it is very important that you realize that there are several great people that have excelled within their fields several times that were ADD. Einstein, Leonardo Da Vinco, and Churchill were all adults that suffered from ADD.

Several of the adults that suffered from ADD were very compassionate, even though they were often misjudged as being cold and aloof because of the fact that they are very talkative and sociable.
